    I perform your ceremony and complete the officiant portion.

    The completed license is returned to the issuing Probate Court.

    Georgia Premarital Education

    Take the Course Before You Get Your Marriage License.

    Premarital education helps couples strengthen communication, discuss expectations, improve conflict-resolution skills, and build a stronger foundation before marriage.

    Couples who complete a qualifying Georgia premarital education program together may also qualify for a reduced marriage-license cost when required documentation is provided to the Probate Court.

    What Happens After the Wedding?

    Once your marriage has been recorded, obtain a certified marriage certificate. If changing your name, that document may be needed when updating your records.

    Obtain your certified marriage certificate from Probate Court.
    Update your name with the Social Security Administration, if applicable.
    Update your Georgia driver’s license or state ID with Georgia DDS.
    Update your employer, bank, insurance, passport, financial accounts, and other records as applicable.

    Please include the couple’s name and wedding date with electronic payments whenever possible. Your wedding date is not secured until the required deposit has been received and your booking is confirmed.

    A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
    Remaining balance is due 48 hours before the ceremony.
    Accepted payments include Cash App, Apple Pay, PayPal, and cash.
    Couples must obtain the required marriage license before the ceremony.
    Same-day or short-notice ceremonies may require a rush fee.
    Holiday and peak-season pricing may vary.
    Travel and mileage fees may apply outside the local service area.
    Your date is not reserved until the required deposit is received.
    Ministry Matters

    Ministry & Hardship Consideration

    Limited ministry or hardship consideration may be available at the discretion of Pastor and Chaplain Lashawnda Shiree Love. Requests must be discussed during the consultation and are considered individually. Availability and approval are not guaranteed.

    What if we don’t have a venue?

    For qualifying local ceremonies, availability may be offered at God’s Temple of Holy Praise #2, 106 Griffin Street, Bainbridge, Georgia. Please confirm availability first.

    Do you offer premarital education?

    Yes. A separate premarital education program is available. Qualifying Georgia premarital education may also help eligible couples receive a reduced marriage-license cost.

    How can we pay?

    Accepted payment methods include Cash App at $IntellectualDesigns, Apple Pay at 229-766-8488, PayPal at lambflanders@yahoo.com, and cash.

    When is payment due?

    Do you attend rehearsals?

    Rehearsal attendance is not included in the $75 Local Wedding Ceremony package. Additional availability can be discussed during your consultation.

    Can we customize our vows?

    Yes. Personalized vows and ceremony preferences can be discussed during your consultation.

    Will you travel to our wedding?

    Yes. I am based in Bainbridge, Georgia and travel throughout surrounding Southwest Georgia communities based on availability. Applicable travel is $0.85 per mile round trip from Bainbridge.

    What do we do with our marriage license?

    Obtain your required marriage license before the ceremony and bring it with you. I complete the officiant portion after the ceremony and the completed license is returned to the issuing Probate Court for recording.
